This remarkable individual is also a renowned model scout with a keen eye for talent and a passion for helping aspiring models achieve their dreams. With years of experience in the industry, he has built a reputation as one of the most respected and sought-after scouts in the business. So, without further ado, please join me in welcoming Tony Jones of T.J. Modeling. Whether you're a fashion enthusiast, a music lover, or an aspiring model, Tony will inspire and captivate you with his talent, passion, and unwavering dedication to his craft. Thank you for your attention, and I hope you enjoy getting to know Tony as much as I have."

Mr. Tony Jones is the operator and owner of T.J. Scouting Agency located in N.Y. New York. When asked what he looks for in a model, he responded, Height and face features are essential, then personality. Why, some may ask? Let's face it: there are many beautiful people in the world. But a good personality is vital for a fashion model in the fashion industry because modeling isn't just about looking good in front of the camera. It's also about working well with others, such as photographers, designers, and other models. Models with good personalities tend to be more successful because they are easy to work with, professional, and can make a positive impression on those they work with. A model's personality can also help them stand out from the competition and make a lasting impression on clients and fans. Ultimately, a good personality can help a model build a successful and fulfilling career in the fashion industry.

When asking Jones what inspired him to pursue a career in modeling?

Jones replied he "was inspired by G.Q. Magazine to model plus he loves style." Per our last interview with Mr. Jones on February 24, 2022, he explained to our readers how unique G.Q. Magazine was to him as a teenager. G.Q. Magazine is known for its unique blend of high-end fashion, lifestyle, and cultural content. What sets it apart from other male fashion magazines is its focus on providing readers with a comprehensive guide to modern men's fashion. From street style to formal wear, G.Q. covers all the latest trends and offers expert advice on achieving the perfect look. The magazine is known for its in-depth features on various topics, from politics to pop culture, making it a go-to source for men who want to stay informed and up-to-date on the latest news and trends. We asked Mr. Jones, as a modeling scout, how do you identify potential models, and what are the most important factors to consider when selecting models for different types of fashion shows? Jones shared that models selected for shows fit the brief or story the designer is trying to tell with the clothing they designed. In short, when fashion designers select models, they typically look for several key factors. First and foremost, they look for models with the right physical attributes, such as height, weight, body proportions, and facial features, to showcase their designs. Additionally, they look for models with a unique look or style that will help their designs stand out and make a statement on the runway or in photo shoots. Beyond physical attributes, designers also look for models with a certain level of professionalism and reliability. This means that models should be punctual, easy to work with, and able to take direction from designers, stylists, and photographers. Models who work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude throughout long and often demanding shoots are highly valued. Finally, designers usually look for models with a solid social media presence or fan base, as this can help promote their brand and generate buzz around their designs. Models who can cultivate a following and engage with fans on social media can be a valuable asset to designers looking to build their brands and expand their reach.

Jones further shared with the relaunched Echo, NJ's oldest Black-owned newspaper, the advice that he would give to someone just starting in the modeling industry is to "start sending out their pictures to all agencies with a good reputation, or a consultant like him. You can contact Mr. Jones at tonyjones81usa@gmail.com. We asked Jones how the fashion industry changed from when you were a model and what challenges have you faced in adapting to these changes? Jones told us that" the industry changes constantly, so it's important to roll with the changes and adapt. For example, as a new model, you can't just walk any longer into a model agency ; you must send emails for an appointment. Also, there's a lot more freelancing these days."

We asked Mr. Jones what was his most memorable modeling experience that was special to him special? He said, "Shooting Men's Vogue in Paris a few times would be my most memorable time as a model and, of course, doing the shows in Paris and Milan ." When asked about how vital diversity is in the modeling industry and what steps he takes to ensure that his agency represents a diverse range of models, Jones shared that he never thinks about skin color and things of that nature; a model is a model; it's all about beauty and pose, you can have this in all colors, race, male and female. It's about the story a designer is trying to tell, and there are many, so you need all kinds of models.

Anyone who has met Mr. Jones in person could easily mistake him for a 25-year-old man. But those who know him know that he's been in the modeling industry for many years! We couldn't help but ask Jones How do you stay in shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally, while working in the fast-paced and often demanding modeling industry? Jones replied I go to the gym five days a week; eating healthy is also essential. And that his career keeps him afloat because he truly enjoys the fashion business. We asked Jones What are your future goals and aspirations for your modeling career, and what steps are you taking to achieve them?

Jones shared, "I've been working on a few projects: a new music CD tour starting in Europe next year and a film project based on my life. But I enjoy helping young people take steps in this business. It's my way of giving back.

And we of the relaunched Echo say bravo!
