As our dedicated Relaunched Echo readers are well aware, I firmly believe in the importance of sharing not only our year-end report but also a comparative report for the period from July 6, 2020, to July 6, 2025 later this year. This practice allows our readers to clearly observe the progress and authenticity that the relaunched Echo contributes to the reading community, highlighting the hard truths and successful collaborations we have achieved over the past five years.


The year 2024 has marked a significant transformation for the relaunched Echo, as we revived New Jersey's oldest Black-owned newspaper. Our efforts have concentrated on boosting engagement, growing our readership, and expanding our advertising revenue. This report highlights our key metrics and accomplishments from the year so far.

Echo News TV LLC Last 30 Day "Traffic Over Time" Analysis from Feb 2025 to March 2025

Advertising Revenue:

In 2024, we successfully secured various advertising placements that contributed to our revenue:

- One 1/4 page Affordable Senior Real Estate Ad from Mr. Kramer: $30

- One obituary ad placement from Ms. C. Edwards: $25

- One ad placement for the Humane Society's "Puppy Mills Awareness Campaign" from Ms. Tucker: $100

- One grant from Montclair State University/The Black Publishers Collective: $800



Partnerships and Collaborations:

This year has also seen fruitful collaboration with Montclair University, where we participated in an adjacent project with The Center for Cooperative Media. Through this partnership, our articles were featured in their Daily News Roundup, significantly boosting our readership.
