Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the breath in my lungs, for the love of family and friends, and for Your eternal grace. Teach me to cultivate a thankful heart, not just in seasons of plenty but also in times of want. Help me to see Your love and goodness woven into every circumstance.

In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

At first glance, the Apostle Paul's instruction to "give thanks in all circumstances" might seem like an overwhelming task. After all, we find ourselves navigating not just the peaks of joy but also the valleys of trials and tribulations. How could we possibly muster gratitude when life feels like a maze of challenges?

It's important to remember that Paul penned these words amidst his own trials, challenges, and what one might call the "rigorous journey of ministry." The secret here isn't merely to voice words of thanks, but to cultivate a heart posture of gratitude. It's about shifting your perspective to see the fingerprints of God's love and wisdom in every situation.

You see, gratitude has a way of reframing our reality. It doesn't erase our difficulties but shines a different light on them. It opens our hearts to recognize the constant undercurrent of God's grace, even when the surface waters of life are tumultuous.

Take a moment today to consider: What is that one situation you've been dreading? Can you identify a glimpse of God's grace within it?

Breathe

When He carried me to a land unknown to man, like in Psalm 23, then I knew He is with me. When He was with me for years as He was with Joseph, I became reassured He always cares. When He fed me, clothed me and met my every need for all my years, then I understood this knowledge that He reigns and forever loves me. The key I often thought was obedience but now I know it is more than that. God is a personal God who will never abandon...

"Breathe. I'm going to be okay. Breathe ..

He is over death and our focus is totally on Him. God would never leave nor forsake us in a way with great mercy; and therefore he resolves never to leave nor forsake ..Amen!
