The Reeveys have an innate ability to make a person laugh at themselves. This is good because people often take life and themselves too seriously. God blessed the relaunch of The Echo with the descendant of Cherokee Chief Reevey of Reeveytown, New Jersey, to provide another perspective of Black society. So, for those who enjoy Paul Mooney, Rickey Smiley, or Earthquake, let me tell you that you have found your man in Mr. Reevey.
Per Mr. David Reevey's "About Page On Facebook,"
shares his favorite lyrics from a Kirk Franklin song titled
More Than I Can Bear:
"I've gone through the fire.
And I've been through the flood.
I've been broken into pieces.
Seen lightnin' flashin' from above
But through it all, I remember
That He loves me
And He cares
And He'll never put more more on me than I can bear!
About David
I love to work hard and rest harder. L.O.L."
